Woodstock Festival, Bethel, New York

It was August 15-18 1969, and over 300,000 people gathered on Max Yasgur's farm in Sullivan County New York for a music festival we now know as Woodstock. Why called Woodstock? It was a way to raise money to start a recording studio in Woodstock, New York. We have visited the sight several times; Please enjoy the photos. This is a part of American history; this is the largest gathering in one place, and was known as the second largest "city" by population at the time in New York State.
